Wisconsin Bishop Thomas Gumbleton: Homosexuality and the Ordained Ministry:The recent Vatican document
Thomas Gumbleton, Auxiliary Bishop of Detroit, was founding president of Pax Christi, USA. Long an advocate for peace and social justice, now at 75, he is reluctant to submit his resignation to Rome. For years, Bishop Gumbleton has ranked among the most progressive prelates in American hierarchy. A critic of American foreign policies, he has protested nuclear weapons, the School of the Americas, and military intervention in Iraq. He has also attracted attention with his complaints that the Church denigrates women and needs to take a more accepting attitude toward homosexuals.
State Rep. Fred Kessler: Domestic and Homosexual Partners and State Law The November referendum on rights of partners and their families
Frederick Kessler, has served Wisconsin as a Milwaukee County Court Judge
and Circuit Court Judge as well as a member of the state assembly in 1960,

Milwaukee chapter of ACLU, World Affairs Council of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Bar
Assn., Amnesty International Group 107, as well as many other organizations.
He will update us about the implications and effects of the November Wisconsin
