1. New and Improved Bi Group Meets at OutReach
Bi the Way is a peer based social and support group which provides
a positive environment for people sharing life experiences and challenges
related to bisexuality. Group members also have an opportunity to plan
& participate in social events/outings. Although discussion will
primarily include issues related to bisexuality, one does not need to
be bisexual to attend. Group meetings are the 1st and 3rd Monday of
every month at 7:30pm at OutReach -- 600 Williamson St.,Madison.

2. New Conversation/Social Group Starts in Madison
SalonQ is an inclusive adult social/discussion group organized by OutReac.
It is designed as a conversation group for any member of the community
looking for a safe and healthy way to meet and get to know new people.
Anyone and everyone is welcome, but respect for the diversity of perspectives
in life is our number-one goal. We hope to create a social network outside
the bar scene where the objective is good talk and good times. Topics
can range from politics to sex, family to music. You bring the conversation
and we'll be there. Our meetings will be held at varying locations,
so keep your eyes open for where we'll be !

Women's Dance This Saturday
Women Who Want to Dance will be sponsoring a dance this Saturday, February
10 at Club 5 (5 Applegate Ct.) Dance lessons from 6:30-7:30 and there
is no partner necessary. The cover is $5 (more if you can, less if you
can't). Enjoy music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Happy Hour 6-8 p.m.

4. 2007 New Harvest Dinner Dance
The New Harvest Foundation's 2007 Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday,
February 24th at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. US Congresswoman
Tammy Baldwin and State Representative Mark Pocan will be the featured
speakers.
The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails with dinner and
program following at 7:00 p.m. Dancing will begin at 8:30 p.m. with
musical entertainment provided by DJ Nick Nice. Ticket costs are $60
per person, $55 per person per pair or $50 per person per eight person
table.

5. The Fabulous Crone Show
Chase the winter chills away at Positive Aging Theater's The Fabulous
Crone Show: Lives and Loves of Elder Women, the weekend after Valentine's
Day. Few theatrical pieces include parts for women older than 40, so
producer Wendy Fern Hutton and director Jan Levine Thal, organized a
variety show to showcase the many talents among women "of a certain
age." It includes skits, music, dance, and even a Pilates demonstration.
Audiences young and old, female and male will enjoy the mix of music
and theater, serious and comic, rehearsed and improvised.
Two locations! Friday, February 16 & Saturday, February 17, 7:30
pm at Meriter Main Gate, 333 W. Main, Madison. Sunday, February 18,
2pm at Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin, Madison.

Marcy Weiland, Sarah Whelan, Sarah Williams, Linda Woito, and Yvonne
Yanke, as well as the improvisation troupe, Flaming Dykasaurus, including
Bevo, Lynda Finn, Abbie Hill, Emily Jones, and Mary Waitrovich.

wheelchair accessible. Positive Aging Theater is the resident theater
company of the Madison Senior Center.

6. Women's Coming Out Group to Start in March
A women?s peer-based coming out support group is forming in Madison
and will begin meeting at OutReach in early March. The purpose of the
group is to offer support to women who are dealing with the realization
that they are not heterosexual and how that affects their everyday lives.
The support group will identify and discuss the stages of coming out
and explore topics such as how to deal with family members, physical
and sexual safety, legal rights and discrimination, and spirituality,
among others.
Two trained volunteers will facilitate each meeting. The group will
meet Thursday evenings for 9 weeks starting in early March. Women who
are interested in attending the meetings should call 255-8582 and leave
a message for Andrea or e-mail
by Saturday, February 25 to schedule an interview for the group.

7. Sexual Health Discussion Group for Gender Diverse
People to form in Spring
A sexual health discussion group for gender diverse people(including
but not limited to self-identified genderqueers, transsexuals, drag
king/queens, FTM, MTF, crossdressers, and intersex) will start at OutReach
this March. The six week group will cover a wide variety of topical
matter related to gender self-expression, body imagery, discrimination
issues, health care barriers/resources, and the sexual decision-making
process. Sessions will be two hours in length and meet once a week on
Thursday nights at 7pm. Food will be provided, and an attendance allowance
for consistent participation will also be given at the end of the six-week
session.

8. Blades Against AIDS
The Madison Gay Hockey Association and Madison Ice, Inc. are pleased
to present the first annual Blades Against AIDS: A fundraiser for AIDS
Network. We invite you to spend an evening at the rink with the players
of the MGHA, members of the community and your friends for an open skate
to benefit AIDS Network and its programs. The mission of AIDS Network
is to provide, though a network of services and partnerships, support,
education and opportunities for the well being of those afflicted with
or touched by HIV/AIDS.
This event will be Saturday March 3, 2007 from 7-9pm at the Madison
Ice Area, 725 Forward Drive, Madison, Wisconsin. Ticket prices are $15
for people age 16 and older, $10 for 13-15 year olds, $5 for children
12 and under. Ticket includes skate rental, food and music. Donations
will also be accepted. An after party and raffle will be held at the
Shamrock Bar, 117 W Main St, Madison, Wisconsin. For more information
